About the course
Learn by doing, not by watching
Most flooring courses put you in a classroom. We put you on a slab. Across two days you'll prep, coat, flake, grind and polish real floors under the guidance of trainers who install these systems for a living.
The Epoxy School and Rock Up Group bring equal specialist experience to the floor — practical epoxy systems and mechanically polished concrete, taught together on a real slab. You'll leave with the skills, product knowledge and confidence to take on paid work.

Curriculum
What you'll learn
Day one covers epoxy flake systems from preparation to topcoat. Day two is concrete grinding and polishing. Plus the business skills to actually make money from it.
Surface Preparation
Moisture testing, diamond grinding, crack repair and profiling — the foundation every great floor is built on.
Epoxy Flake Systems
Primers, base coats, full-flake broadcasts and grout coats. Learn broadcast technique, flake selection and coverage rates.
Topcoats & Finishes
Polyurethane and polyaspartic topcoats, gloss levels, anti-slip additives and how to get a flawless finish every time.
Concrete Grinding
Machine setup, tooling selection and the step-by-step grind sequence for residential and commercial slabs.
Polished Concrete
Honing and polishing passes, densifiers, guards and burnishing to achieve a durable, mirror-like finish.
Pricing & Business
How to quote jobs profitably, manage customers, avoid costly failures and build a flooring business that lasts.
